About Me
My name is Joanne Craythorne
Hello and welcome—I’m a wedding celebrant with a genuine love for love, in all the forms it takes. For seven years, I served as a church verger, witnessing the joy of couples joining their lives and playing a quiet but proud role in their special day. After COVID changed the rhythm of life and a relocation led to new beginnings, I found myself missing those heart-filled ceremonies—and that’s when I chose to retrain as a celebrant.
Now, I have the joy of helping couples design ceremonies that reflect their unique story, values, and connection. Whether it’s traditional, modern, spiritual, or something wildly original, I’m here to honour and celebrate it.
I am a widow who still treasures the vows I once made—“’til death do us part”—and I bring that lived understanding of love’s depth and strength to the work I do. I'm also a proud mother of three grown children and a very blessed grandmother, surrounded by joy and affection that fuels everything I do.
Every ceremony I lead is a celebration of love—and I feel deeply privileged to walk alongside couples as they step into one of life’s most cherished moments.
